When you hunt with Lone Tree Creek Outfitters, formerly known as SDBC Hunting, you will experience the excitement of the hunt on a prime 7,000+ acre, five-generation farm that combines thrilling hunting adventures with small-town hospitality. Located in the Heart of Pheasant Country, the land is professionally managed for pheasant’s wintering and breeding, making it an ideal place for the pheasant habitat. Throughout our grounds, you’ll find high-grass creek beds, grasslands, and farmland.

With years of experience and a passion for hunting, our mission is to give you the hunting adventure of a lifetime with customizable packages including guided pheasant hunts, hunting dogs and guns (or bring your own!), lodging, food and drink, and game processing.

My experience with Lone Tree Creek Outfitters was nothing short of fabulous. The staff and guides were very knowledgeable and professional. We limited out every day with challenging hunts. The evenings were spent sharing great stories around the fire while sipping fine bourbon. For me, I particularly appreciated their ability to navigate my specific food allergy. Like many avid outdoorsmen, I have the curse of the Lone Star tick, which is an allergy to mammalian red meat and dairy (called Alpha-gal syndrome or allergy) from a tick bite. The chef, Gary, was diligent about making sure the food prepared for me didn’t have red meat or dairy. The quality of the food prepared rivaled any fine dining establishment. It was a spectacular 3 days in the Gregory, SD area.

Had my first trip to “LTCO” this past fall with a group of friends. I didn’t really know what to expect but it exceeded my expectations. Located in the “Golden Triangle” for pheasant hunting the birds were plentiful and limits were full. Our guide - Daniel - could not have been better or more friendly and his dogs were a joy to watch. The land is beautiful. Very comfortable accommodations with three excellent meals and nightly beverages which made for fun nights. I had my meat processed and shipped back to me in a very professional manner. The owners are a fantastic bunch and we are booked again this year.

In September of 2023 I and several friends had the pleasure of going on a 3-day pheasant hunt with Lone Tree Creek Outfitters in Gregory, SD. The experience was nothing short of amazing. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and the hunting grounds were well-maintained and full of birds. Every day, everyone in our group limited out on birds often within a couple of hours.. Additional to the fantastic hunting experience, the landscape and scenery at Lone Tree Creek Outfitters in Gregory, SD were truly breathtaking. The natural beauty of the area added to the overall enjoyment of the trip. It was a pleasure to spend time in such a picturesque location.
