THE HUNT
Sharpen your skills and your accuracy by hunting at one of our authorized prairie dog towns where the fun never ends. Prairie dog hunting is challenging, rewarding and one of the most fun things you can do with a rifle. As a true South Dakota experience, prairie dog hunts make a great afternoon event or activity for the entire group. See who earns the title of Dead Eye with the most prairie dogs taken. Prairie Dogs hunts are separate from the Pheasant hunts and are an additional cost. Ask your guide for pricing and scheduling.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We take care of the details, you enjoy the hunt! You will be seated when shooting, sometimes from an elevated platform, so bring warm cloths and dress according to the weather. You are welcome to bring your own rifle, and we have a rifle to rent and ammunition for purchase.

Gun Rental
We have a 22-250 rifle available for daily Rent. It is a bolt action for high accuracy shots, complete with a high visibility scope.
Ammunition
We have ammunition for these rifles on site. Other ammunition available upon request.
Do I need a hunting license prior to arriving?
A hunting license is required. However, we are happy to assist you in getting your license once you arrive.
What should I bring on my hunt?
Please bring warm clothes, comfortable footwear, shooting glasses, ear protection, your i.d., and hunting license.

Lone Tree Creek Outfitters accepts major credit cards, cash, checks, and Venmo. Cash and checks preferred. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card and Venmo payments.
